Battery life is unequaled with over 500 power on hours. Most competitors have a battery life of 8 to 12 hours. Back lights and lasers all running off of one battery cause battery life to plummet. Back lit displays also are hard to read from any angle other than directly in front due to the technology that has to let the light shine through from the back of the LCD.
